Yes,last time I wrote I used the patch from your's post:

1. download PPF-o-Matic: Code:

http://www.sospc-en-ligne.com/downloads/pdx-pom3.zip

2. and download the Wii PPF Patch to remove #001 error on Mario Kart: Code:

http://gbatemp.net/up/mkwii2.zip

3. Open PPF-o-matic.
4. Select your downloaded Mario Kart .iso file.
5. Select the PPF patch from wherever you saved it.
6. Click Apply,
7. then burn your newly patch .iso file (should overwrite the original (unpatched) .iso file).

Have tried this both patched and unpatched. Still doesn't work for me and i have D2CKEY.

What region is your wii?

Its the Australian Wii.

I have tried patching it using your instructions already, as specified in my previous post.

Still no luck. Just loads up, and all i see is a hanging black screen.

Hi, I'm new to all this kinda stuff. So I'm a bit confused

If my I just burn this iso after extracting to a dvd -r will it just work on my Wii (PAL) without needing to do any of that patching?

As a side question, what is scrubbing and the patching thing for??

after I have burnt my game twice, the 001 error was gone indeed, but when I wanted to play the singleplayer mode it said: "Could not read disk, please read your wii manual (or something)"
I don't know what happened, or what I have done wrong.
I have burnt 3 cd's: The first one without the patch, made me get a black screen. Second cd with an update remover on it: gave me the 001 error (At least I think so, Can't quite remember because I have tried so much).
And the last CD with the ppf file burnt on it: and it just gives me the error I wrote down above... Could not read disk...
I have tried burning the first disk at 2x speed, and the last one on 4x speed (because I had read somewhere that the writing speed was able to put that message up..)

Any ideas on what to do next? 1x burning speed is a bit too low if you ask me. And more than 4x is too high...?

Yep, I've done the same thing and it's eventually worked.
1. burned and inserted the DVD and updated the Wii. Then got the 101 error
2. applied the patch to the ISO and burned again at 4x using Clone DVD2 (best one out I reckon, very reliable) on TDK DVD+R 1-16x speed.
3. Inserted and worked a treat!

I've done this so many times now and there is always an issue, sometimes I think it's better to just buy the damn games

Alright, so I have the Aussie wii with the Argon chip.

I downloaded it and burned the ISO at 3x, put the game in and the mario kart logo doesnt even appear on the wii.

Anything Im missing?

hey everyone, sorry to ask like everyone else does lol, but I am kinda new at this i Just bought a wiikey, and a dvd+r rom for my laptop. I am currenly downloading the links (slowly because i have no premiume which a pain in you butt to wait and wait lol) but anyways my question is once i've downloaded all the rar files from rapidshare, do i extrat them to my desktop? or do i burn each file into the dvd+r cd? or can i just highlight all 31 rar files and drag them to the dvd+r cd and then write it. I am a bit confuzed so if you could please help me this one time i bet i can get it the rest of the time!

Hi guys, I have a D2CKey, downloaded this game elsewhere, pal version. I have a pal version system as well. I ran brickblocker (with the patch.iso that came with the download of brickblocker), and now I keep getting a blank screen when I try to run the game.

Would the above steps with ppf-o-magic and the 001 error remover make it work? Has it worked for others in my situation?

Search for a program called 'Rapget' works awesome with rapidshare (it's easier when you have a premium account)

I gave up on mario kart, I got tired of all the waste of cds

well ...i did do the patch to start off with ... then put it into my pal wii and it said error has occured .... then i loaded up homebrew channel and then Gecko OS and loaded it through there ... works like a treat
