Hi jamesdean,

First things first. Go off-line/no Intranet) This application requires an Intranet connection to complete the install. You must not be on-line during the install process or it will phone home and know you are installing one of their products.
In this download posted by "kathleen" there is a key generator (keygen). This will complete the install without being on-line.

Installing and getting this application to work should be an easy process.

First the Ableton 6 download should have included an "install serial number" (here is an example of one for 6.0.7 that should work, though I would start with the sn that came with this DL: 4008-9601-3CDF-4CD0-9D7E-7147). After the app is installed it still will need to have a "key" to work. Very similar to a serial number, but more.

A key is to insure that the app only works on (1) computer and only "that" computer. The keygen is a simple small application that generates the required number.

The Ableton application registration file should show you the install sn you used and give you a specific key number (this number is generated by the Ableton registration app and has combined the install sn with your computers ID or other such computer specific IDs) that when you either call the Ableton company by phone or on-line will give you the final unlock number.
You will not need to go on-line or phone Ableton. Just use the number given by the registration app with the keygen and it will give you the 3rd and last number needed to unlock Ableton.

Most keygens are similar. They are simple once you understand what you are needing to do.

I feel like I got jipped.I don't know where my unlock key is. someone help

having a bit of trouble getting the Unlock Key. The gererator wroks fine for the innitial code, but cannot seem to get the Unlock Key. Any ideas? Thanks
