Hi, thanks for helping
![]() Could you precise to me what has to be burnt on the CD ? First post by Coeee shows 2 different windows with different files in it. Should I burn a cd with the first files? (the dp 6 installer.app + readme + cd extras, demo project, etc. ) ? Or a CD with the second ones (dp6 retail cd.dmg + 6.1 updater + serial) ???? and when registering.... what name has to be typed??? lots of questions I know, but I'm noob I guess, and I tried several times without success... ;( I'd really like to be able to test DP6 before buying it (also aiming at cubase 4 or Logic 8...) Best regards |

Ok from beginning:
1) open with toast (any version) the only file named: Digital Performer 6.0 retail cd.dmg, go into toast at mastering image file.. it'll rip all of the .dmg. Ok 2)mount this, now, original cd on desktop.. install dp6 that it is inside the ex .dmg.. 3) after all installed start with app in the application folder... name: any Serial: DP600-MACLUVR-FJD the least important way is when app. is starting, you are really sure that the ex .dmg, that now is the new cd mastered, must be mounted in the desktop. 4) now can you upgrade at DP 6.0.1 always with the mounted original cd!!! after enjoy it! ![]() Digital performer is the best host after pro tools... others only imitations!!!! 1) Open Spotlight; 2) Type: "Disk Utility"; 3) After finding, open it (it is an application); 4) In the leftside bar select your start-up disk (usually named "Macintosh HD"); 5) In the "First Aid" menu hit "Repair Disk Permissions". 6) That`s all! Wait for a few minutes, and after sucsessfully repaired, go and authorize your DP! ![]() |
