Compact web content management system

WebYep is a compact Web Content Management System for extremely simple creation of editable web pages. It is a low priced alternative for small to medium web sites. WebYep focuses on web designers that concentrate on design and don't want to adopt PHP or deep HTML skills to simply make some pages (of a maybe already existing website) editable.

The WebYep Elements can be inserted and edited extremely easy with the WebYep Dreamweaver Extension or Rapidweaver. Inserting and editing of a WebYep Element is as easy as inserting any other content into your page in Dreamweaver. As a web designer you don't have to face a single line of PHP code.
Basics: text and images

* Users can edit text content and upload images

* Text formatting abilities are defined by the web designer through CSS styles

* Automatic recognition of links and e-mail addresses

* Email addresses can be encoded to hide from spam spiders

Menus

With the WebYep Menu Element you can build basic menu structures with sub items and section titles.
Loops

With the WebYep Loop Element you can repeat arbitrary WebYep or HTML elements on a page. The content and order of each iteration can be determined by the user.
File Attachment

With the WebYep Attachment Element you can attach any kind of document to a web page so visitors can download it.

* A web space with PHP4 or PHP5 support
min. PHP 4.1, or for PHP5 min. 5.1
o It must be a full, state of the art PHP implementation.
o Any server OS supporting PHP can be used, allthough Winwows® based servers are known to sometimes need some tweaking.
o It must be possible to give PHP write permissions for a specific folder.
o To create thumnbnails the GD extension for PHP must be installed on the server.
* No database (like MySQL) needed!
* To use the WebYep Dreamweaver Extension, you'll need Adobe® Dreamweaver® 8 or CS3 (under Mac OS or Windows).
* To use the RapidWeaver™ Plugin, you need RapidWeaver™ 3.5 or newer.
* To use the WebYep Actions Suite for Freeway® (by max-izzat), you need Freeway Pro® 4 or newer.
