thanks Josephe. I have techtool 4.5.3 installed, but when you launch it while running 10.5 in order to run it on some external disks it won't open and only gives me an alert that says 4.5.3 is incompatible with 10.5, then refers me to the website to upgrade, and there is one there, but its not free. I think I can probably still boot from the disk though and run it, but its a pain booting from the cd. Long wait.
